Mike Shaw - Director
Mike has over 30 years experience as a financial adviser, joining Hill Samuel in 1983 after service as an RAF pilot. Dividing his time between our three offices, he specialises in client portfolio management and co-operating with other professionals including solicitors and accountants. He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning with advanced qualifications in pensions, taxation and trusts.
Linda Scott - Director, Finance and Marketing
Linda has over 23 years experience in financial advice, and formed the present company with Mike in 1996. She has now stepped back from front-line advising to concentrate on the strategic development of our firm throughout South Wales.
Nigel Baker CFP APFS ACII – Adviser and Associate
Nigel joined us in 2004 bringing huge experience to the firm. Shortly afterwards he was one of the initial 200 to be awarded the coveted status of Chartered Financial Planner. He works mostly from our Haverfordwest office and covers North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion in particular.
Edward Scott – Adviser and Associate
Edd qualified in IT at Pembrokeshire College and has worked his way up the firm since 1999. He holds the full Diploma in Financial Planning and qualifications in Mortgages and Equity Release and is progressing towards Chartered Status. In 2012 he moved across from Admin Management to full adviser status, working mainly with our existing clients in Haverfordwest.
Julian Scordino - Adviser and Associate
Julian became a Financial Adviser in 1989. Prior to this he had been involved primarily in both commercial and residential property in London and has always maintained an interest in property matters. Before joining Hedley in 2011 he was an adviser with Openwork Limited in London. He is qualified to full diploma status in Financial Planning and holds the CII Certificate in Mortgage Planning. Julian spends a considerable amount of his time in or around London where many of his clients, both personal and corporate, are based.
Delyth Summons - Accounts
Delyth provides our vital book-keeping services and is the Welsh speaking member of the team, which is an important advantage especially in our service to the community in West Wales.
Emma Summons - Administrator
Emma administers our Haverfordwest office, working with Linda, Edward, Julian and Nigel. She is a rising star in Welsh women's rugby, so don't mess with Emma!
Sian Warr - Administrator
Sian administers our Cardiff office, working with Mike. As well as supporting Mike she helps with the day to day compliance work as well are recently taking over the running of the website. Sian is now on Maternity leave and is expecting her first child
